About Peter Dinklage

Peter Dinklage is an American actor, born Peter Hayden Dinklage on 11 June 1969 in Morristown. He was born in the North Jersey region of New Jersey and studied acting at Bennington College, performing in a number of amateur stage productions.

Dinklage made his film debut in the black comedy Living in Oblivion in 1995, and had his breakthrough with a starring role in the 2003 comedy-drama The Station Agent. He portrayed Tyrion Lannister in the HBO series Game of Thrones, which ran from 2011 to 2019, and won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series a record four times. His other films include Elf, Death at a Funeral, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
