Sydney Sweeney is an American actress, born on 12 September 1997 in Spokane. She gained early recognition for her roles in the series Everything Sucks!, The Handmaid's Tale and, in 2018, Sharp Objects.

Sweeney received wider acclaim for her performances in the drama series Euphoria, which ran from 2019 to 2026, and in the first season of the anthology series The White Lotus in 2021. Both roles earned her nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards. In film, she was praised for the drama Reality in 2023 and for portraying professional boxer Christy Martin in the biopic Christy in 2025.
