About Aaron Donald

Aaron Donald is an American professional football defensive end who plays for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He was born on 23 May 1991 in Pittsburgh and played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers.

In 2013 Donald won the Bronko Nagurski, Outland and Bill Willis trophies and the Chuck Bednarik and Lombardi awards. The St. Louis Rams selected him in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, and he spent his first 10 seasons with the franchise before retiring in 2023 and returning in 2026. He has been named Defensive Player of the Year a record three times, and received Pro Bowl selections in all 10 of his seasons and eight first-team All-Pro honors. He was a member of the Rams team that won Super Bowl LVI.
