About David Babunski

David Babunski is a Macedonian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Macedonian First League club Vardar. He was born on 1 March 1994 in Skopje. He joined FC Barcelona's La Masia in 2006 at age 12 after starring at UDA Gramenet, and in December 2011 he was elected Macedonian Young Sportsperson of the Year.

Babunski was promoted to the Barcelona reserves in June 2013 and made his professional debut on 24 August in a 2 to 1 win against CD Lugo. He scored his first goal on 31 May 2014, a last-minute winner against AD Alcorcón, and played 16 games in 2014 to 15. He transferred to Red Star Belgrade in January 2016 and won the Serbian SuperLiga in his first season. He later played in Japan, Romania and Hungary.
