About Gilberto Carlos Nascimento

Gilberto Carlos Nascimento, commonly known as Betinho, is a Brazilian football coach and former player who played as a midfielder. He was born on 14 June 1966 in the Ipiranga District.

Betinho won the Supercopa Libertadores and the Campeonato Mineiro in 1992 with Cruzeiro. With Shonan Bellmare he won the Emperor's Cup in 1994 and the Asian Cup Winners' Cup in 1995. He was named in the Japan Football League Best Eleven in 1993 and the J. League Best Eleven in 1994, and received the Legend of Bellmare award in 2003. As a manager he won the Campeonato Sergipano in 2015 with Confiança.
