Gilberto Ribeiro Gonçalves, commonly known as Gil, is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a forward. He was born on 13 September 1980 in Andradina, where he grew up.

Corinthians scouts noticed Gil at the age of fifteen and he joined the club as a youth player. He scored 31 goals in 124 games for Corinthians, then moved to Tokyo Verdy 1969 in Japan in 2005 and to Cruzeiro in 2006. He was formerly a Brazilian international.
