About Koki Ogawa

Koki Ogawa is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a forward for J.League club Machida Zelvia and the Japan national team. He was born on 8 August 1997 in Yokohama. He joined J1 League club Júbilo Iwata in 2016 and made his debut on 6 April in the J.League Cup against Ventforet Kofu.

Ogawa went to J2 League club Mito HollyHock on loan from Júbilo Iwata in 2019, and on 27 December 2021 he joined J2 club Yokohama FC for the 2022 season. That year he contributed 26 goals as Yokohama FC gained promotion to the J1 League, was the league's top scorer, was named in the J2 League Best XI and won the J2 MVP award. In July 2023 he joined Eredivisie club NEC Nijmegen on a season-long loan, and NEC exercised the purchase option on 21 March 2024. In May 2017 he was selected for Japan's squad for the 2017 U-20 World Cup.
