About Lucas Paquetá

Lucas Paquetá, born Lucas Tolentino Coelho de Lima, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Flamengo and the Brazil national team. He was born on 27 August 1997 in Rio de Janeiro.

Paquetá began his career in 2007 with Flamengo, winning the 2016 Copa São Paulo de Júniores before his promotion to the senior team. In 2019 he joined AC Milan for two seasons, then moved to Lyon in 2020, where he was named in the UNFP Ligue 1 Team of the Year for 2020 to 2021. In 2022 he signed for West Ham United and won the UEFA Europa Conference League in his debut season. He re-joined Flamengo in 2026. For Brazil he played at the Copa América in 2019, 2021 and 2024, winning in 2019.
