About Vitinha

Vitinha, whose full name is Vítor Machado Ferreira, is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain and the Portugal national team. He was born on 13 February 2000 in Faro. He is known for his ball control, work rate and playmaking.

Vitinha came through Porto's youth system and was promoted to the first team in 2020. He was loaned to Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2020 and returned the following season, helping Porto win a domestic double and being named the league's Best Young Player of the Year. He joined Paris Saint-Germain in June 2022 and has won four Ligue 1 titles and two Coupes de France with the club. He made his senior international debut in 2022 and won the UEFA Nations League in 2025.
