About Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs is an American professional football wide receiver for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League. He was born on 29 November 1993 in Gaithersburg and played college football for the Maryland Terrapins.

The Minnesota Vikings selected Diggs in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL draft, and he formed a receiving tandem with Adam Thielen. His highlights there include catching the Minneapolis Miracle pass during the 2017 to 18 NFL playoffs. He received a 5-year extension before being traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2020, where he became the fastest receiver to pass 100 catches with a new team and broke Eric Moulds's franchise record for receiving yards in a season. In 2020 he led all NFL receivers with 127 receptions and 1,535 receiving yards. He has also played for the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots, appearing in Super Bowl LX with the latter.
