Ana Ivanovic is a Serbian former professional tennis player. She was born on 6 November 1987 in Belgrade. She made her WTA Tour debut in 2004, and by the age of 18 she had already defeated established players such as Svetlana Kuznetsova, Nadia Petrova, Vera Zvonareva and Amélie Mauresmo.

Ivanovic won 15 WTA Tour-level singles titles, including a major at the 2008 French Open, which made her world No. 1 at the age of 20. She was runner-up at the 2007 French Open and the 2008 Australian Open, and was ranked world No. 1 by the Women's Tennis Association for 12 weeks. She won the year-end WTA Tournament of Champions in 2010 and 2011, reached the US Open quarterfinals in 2012, and finished 2014 as year-end world No. 5. She announced her retirement in December 2016 and earned over 15.5 million dollars in prize money.
