About Edge

Edge is a Canadian professional wrestler and actor whose real name is Adam Copeland. He was born on 30 October 1973 in Orangeville. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performs under his real name and is one half of Cage & Cope with Christian Cage. He made his professional wrestling debut in 1992.

Edge signed a developmental deal with the World Wrestling Federation in 1997 and made his televised debut in 1998. After winning the Intercontinental Championship in 1999, he formed a tag team with Christian, and the two won the World Tag Team Championship seven times. He won a total of 31 championships in WWE, including the World Heavyweight Championship a record seven times. He won the 2001 King of the Ring tournament, the first Money in the Bank ladder match in 2005 and the 2010 Royal Rumble match. He first retired in 2011, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the next year, and returned in 2020.
