About Sheamus

Sheamus, whose real name is Stephen Farrelly, is an Irish professional wrestler, born on 28 January 1978 in Dublin. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he performed under the ring name Sheamus. He began his professional wrestling career in 2002 on the European independent circuit.

Sheamus signed with WWE in 2007 as part of its developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling and joined the main roster in 2009. He became a four-time world champion, holding the WWE Championship three times and the World Heavyweight Championship once, which made him the first Irish world champion in WWE history. He also held the United States Championship three times and was a five-time tag team champion with his partner Cesaro. He won the 2010 King of the Ring, the 2012 Royal Rumble and the 2015 Money in the Bank ladder match.
