Michael Dell is an American businessman and investor, born on 23 February 1965 in Houston. His full name is Michael Saul Dell. He is the founder, chairman and chief executive of Dell Technologies, one of the world's largest technology infrastructure companies.

Dell leads the company he founded and owns a 40 percent stake in it as of 2026. In January 2013 it was announced that he had bid to take Dell Inc. private for $24.4 billion, in what was the biggest management buyout since the Great Recession. Dell Inc. officially went private in October 2013, and the company went public again in December 2018.
