About Davante Adams
Davante Adams is an American professional football wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. Davante Lavell Adams was born on 24 December 1992 in Palo Alto. He played two seasons of college football for the Fresno State Bulldogs and was a second-team All-American in 2013.
The Green Bay Packers selected him in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft. Early on he sat behind Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb, but after his first Pro Bowl in 2017 he became the top wide receiver, forming a bond with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and leading the league in receiving touchdowns in 2020. He was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, led the league in receiving touchdowns again, and later played for the New York Jets before signing with the Rams.
At a listed 185 cm (6'1"), Adams is the only player in NFL history to lead the league in receiving touchdowns with three different teams. In eight years with the Packers he was First-team All-Pro twice and made the Pro Bowl five times.
