About Boban Babunski

Boban Babunski is a retired Macedonian footballer who played as a central defender, and is now a coach. He was born on 5 May 1968 in Skopje, then part of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

He started at his hometown club FK Vardar, then spent two seasons with CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria and two in the Spanish second division with Lleida. He also played for Gamba Osaka in Japan and joined AEK Athens in July 1998. He retired in 2001 at the age of 33. Babunski was capped twice for Yugoslavia in 1991 and played 23 matches for Macedonia.
