About John Cena
John Felix Anthony Cena is an American actor, former professional wrestler and former rapper, born on 23 April 1977 in West Newbury. He is signed to WWE as a brand ambassador. He began professional wrestling in 1999 and signed with the World Wrestling Federation in 2001, starting in its developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling.
Cena debuted on the main roster on WWE SmackDown in 2002. He wrestled for WWE for 24 years and became a record-setting 17-time world champion, including a record 14 WWE Championships and three World Heavyweight Championships. He won the Royal Rumble match twice and retired in 2025. He began acting in 2006, appearing in The Marine, Trainwreck, Blockers, Bumblebee, F9 and The Suicide Squad, and he portrayed the title character in the series Peacemaker. His rap album You Can't See Me peaked at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 in 2005.
