About Jensen Huang
Jensen Huang is a Taiwanese and American business executive and electrical engineer, born on 17 February 1963 in Tainan. His given name is Jen-Hsun. He is the son of Taiwanese immigrants and spent his childhood in Taiwan and Thailand before moving to the United States, where he was a student in Kentucky and Oregon. He earned a master's degree from Stanford University.
Huang launched Nvidia in 1993 from a Denny's restaurant in San Jose, California, at age 30, and he has remained its president and chief executive since. He led the company out of near-bankruptcy during the 1990s and oversaw its expansion from GPU development into high-performance computing and artificial intelligence.
At a listed 168 cm (5'6"), Huang is married to Lori Huang. Under his leadership Nvidia became the first company to reach a market capitalization of over $5 trillion, in October 2025. Time magazine included him in its list of the most influential people in 2021 and 2024.
