About Coco Rocha
Coco Rocha is a Canadian model, born Mikhaila Rocha on 10 September 1988 in Toronto, Ontario. She grew up in Richmond, British Columbia, where she attended Hugh McRoberts Secondary School. Her family is in the airline industry, she has two siblings, and she is of Irish and Ukrainian descent.
In 2002 the agent Charles Stuart approached Rocha at an Irish dance competition and asked if she would consider modeling. She first modeled in Asia, shooting up to 75 looks a day for two months, then returned to New York and signed an exclusive contract with the photographer Steven Meisel. She is known as the first digital supermodel and advocates for younger models.
At a listed 178 cm (5'10"), Rocha collaborated on the 2014 book Study of Pose. She founded the Coco Rocha Model Camp, co-owns the Nomad Management Modeling Agency, and was announced in 2025 as host of the Project Runway Canada reboot on Crave.
