About Sarah Toscano
Sarah Toscano is an Italian singer-songwriter and actress, born on 9 January 2006 in Vigevano. She was raised in the Pavia area with her sister Giulia, who later became her manager, and her brother Lorenzo. She is the third child of Petra Polomsky, a German teacher originally from Stuttgart, and Marco Toscano, an entrepreneur in the leather sector.
She began studying piano at the age of four, and as a child was influenced by international pop artists such as Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift, as well as Italian artists including Annalisa and Mina. Her work draws on pop and dance-pop. She was passionate about tennis from childhood, played in the women's C series in 2020, and in 2023 left tennis to devote herself to music.
She rose to prominence in 2024 after winning the twenty-third edition of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi. Her listed height is 160 cm (5'3").
