About Candice Swanepoel
Candice Swanepoel is a South African model, born Candice Susan Swanepoel on 20 October 1988 in Mooi River, where she was raised on a farm. Her father, Willem, is from Mutare, Zimbabwe, and her mother is Eileen. She has an older brother named Stephen, grew up as a ballet dancer, and attended boarding school at St. Anne's Diocesan College in Hilton.
At 15, Swanepoel was spotted by a model scout in a Durban flea market. She is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and became a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2010. She has appeared in editorials in many editions of Vogue, Elle, GQ and Harper's Bazaar, as well as V, Allure, W and i-D.
